Elvira and Peter Kononenko and Hana and Adrien Sehovic are the names of two families who have been close friends for over 25 years.
We are a travel-obsessed couple based out of Bondi.
What Are We?
We have the same foreign upbringing as around half of Sydney. While Alen and Ana’s ancestors are from the former Yugoslavia, Lorena was born in Brazil. Steve was born in the Eastern Bloc.
Our family has a long tradition of seeing the world and discovering its rich cultural heritage via travel. We’ve collectively visited 36 different countries, and we’re always happy to talk about what we’ve seen and done.

This website’s inception may be traced back to our desire to share our knowledge of the wonderful places to visit in and around Sydney, Australia.
Surprisingly, when we put up some of our first blogs on the Kiama Blowhole and several beaches surrounding the Kiama area, we noticed that they were generating traffic from Google search results.
We make every effort to see the world outside of Australia, despite its isolation.
We love visiting tropical destinations like Hawaii and Florida, as well as remote wilderness areas like Alaska.
Whenever possible, we spend as much time away from home as our budget will allow. We have seen a lot of the world: numerous countries in Europe, a good chunk of South America, and New Zealand via car.
The world is beautiful, but we only have so much time on this planet to see it, so we take advantage of every opportunity to go there.

How TravelCroc Works
We decided to increase the website’s coverage of locations in countries we have been or plan to visit in the future after we saw an unanticipated uptick in search traffic from Google.
After receiving requests from friends to share our travel photographs and write about the places we visit, we decided to do just that in the hopes that it might be of interest to others.
